

Unexpected overwhelming feelings which seem to occur around mid-life can some times be referred to as a ‘mid-life crisis’. We can suddenly feel dissatisfied with our life which we had previously been happy with. We may feel confused about ourselves and question who we are and what is our purpose in life.
This can be a natural process or can be triggered by a major life event including; a berevement, divorce, job loss, retirement or any other life event. We may feel as though we are in ‘crisis’ and need help to understand what is happening and to somehow find our way through.
Coming in to therapy or counselling can help us gain clarity on what is happening and what we are feeling enabling us to gain a clearer understanding of ourselves and our life.
