

Excessive pressure at work can lead to stress. Stress arises when we feel we can not adequately cope with the demands placed upon us or where there are threats to our job.
Continued stress can lead to a range of psychological difficulties including depression, behaviour problems, relationship problems, drug and alcohol abuse.
Coming into counselling can look at ways to reduce stress by understanding our current coping mechanisms for stress, learning more effective ways of coping and un derstanding our limitations.
